Troubleshooting Login Issues

Students
Username Format – 9 digit user ID number

• Example – 999999999

Email Format – StudentIID@go.kilgore.edu

• Example – 999999999@go.kilgore.edu

Password Format – Student will receive their account information in a letter from the admissions office.  Students will set password when they activate the account—there is no format.

Default Password for Email (Gmail) – Studentmmdd where mmdd is the month and day of your birth.

• Example – If the user birthday is March 8 then your password would be Student0308

Note: The default password for AccessKC is NOT the same password.

Faculty / Staff
Username Format – First initial of first name and full Last name

• Example – John Smith = jsmith

Email Format – First initial of first name and full Last name@kilgore.edu

• Example – John Smith = jsmith@kilgore.edu

Password Format – The default password is Helpdesk7522

Note: The Default password for AccessKC is NOT the same password as the one for Gmail. The password to AccessKC is the same password the student uses to login to the on campus network.
